additive manufacturing, materials assembly, mechanics, microfluidics

The performance of engineered materials and devices across a wide range of applications depends on the ability to combine materials with highly disparate properties. My research lies at the intersection of device design, the behavior of multilayered materials,  and novel assembly and manufacturing techniques including 3D-printing.

Our first article on acoustically-assisted 3D print nozzles makes the cover of Extreme Mechanics Letters, Dec. 2015
